March is National Sleep Apnea Month. Sleep apnea is a disorder where you experience pauses in breathing and shallow breaths while you sleep. This can last anywhere between a few seconds to a few minutes. According to the American Sleep Apnea Association, “a major symptom is extremely loud snoring, sometimes so loud that bed partners find it intolerable.
