The Importance of an Anti-Inflammatory Diet

August is Psoriasis Awareness Month. Psoriasis is a skin condition that causes cells to build up rapidly on the surface of the skin. This is a chronic (long-lasting), inflammatory disease. Plaque Psoriasis, the most common type, can be found anywhere on your body, including the inside of your mouth. Practicing a diet filled with anti-inflammatory foods is a step to protection your body from Psoriasis.
