Periodontal Disease Increases Risk for Stroke

May is American Stroke Awareness Month and National High Blood Pressure Education Month, and recent studies have shown that there is a strong correlation between periodontal disease and cardiovascular disease. The British Health Foundation conducted research to find out just how strong this correlation was.
