COVID Safety At The Dental Office

It’s time to visit your dentist! The past year-plus has disrupted and delayed so much of our scheduled preventative care, but now is the time to get your proactive dental care back on track. It’s not just your mouth that’s at risk, and that’s why it’s so important to visit a complete health dentist. 80% of Americans over the age of 30 have periodontal disease, which can increase the severity of COVID‐19 infection. Not only that, but subpar oral hygiene can increase the risk of bacteria traveling from your mouth to the lungs, increasing the risk of respiratory infections.

We’re thrilled to report that Complete Health Dentistry of Columbus has implemented every possible protection, in order to make your next visit safe and worry-free.

All paperwork necessary for your visit can be downloaded from our website and filled out before your appointment. We can also send the paperwork standard mail if you’d prefer.

Before entering the office, we will take your temperature and provide you with hand sanitizer.

Before your exam, you’ll receive an oral rinse that reduces the viral load that is present in the mouth.

During your exam, we use a suction device that captures the aerosol particles that are produced as we do our work.

Throughout the office we have placed HEPA filter air purifiers that are recommended for larger areas than they are being used for. This is the sort of overkill we can get behind!

All of our team members wear double masks AND a face shield during all procedures.

All of our team members are fully vaccinated.

We’re Here for You!

We hope you find this list of precautions as comforting as we do. Complete Health Dentistry of Columbus is so much more than a dental office. We offer extensive resources to help guide you through your oral systemic health journey such as books on the oral-systemic connection, medical dental collaboration, and sleep apnea testing. Also, with our proactive, whole-body approach, you will significantly decrease your risk of chronic diseases and severity of a COVID infection. Decreasing comorbidities! Here at Complete Health Dentistry of Columbus and The Heart Attack and Stroke Prevention Center of Central Ohio, we provide all our patients with the opportunity to detect and treat asymptomatic comorbidities. This is why your safe access to our center is so important to us. Schedule your appointment today!
