Why I’m Passionate About What I Do

I absolutely love working in dentistry and feel privileged to do what I’m passionate about in an office I respect so much. As a professional committed to personal growth and development, I really appreciate this office and its approach to incorporating new research into everyday practice. Currently, we are incorporating newly-advanced techniques and procedures relating to the effects of oral health on an individual’s overall health.

I love Dr. McClatchie’s commitment to professional growth and her emphasis on the oral-systemic health relationship. The reason she provides us continuing education is because she truly cares so much about the well-being of her patients.

I started my organization, Dental Hygiene Excellence, as a way to provide a streamlined approach and quality control to improve the patient experience. Why I’m Passionate About What I Do:

One thing I have always known I wanted to do was to help people. My career in the dental field has allowed me to help people on so many levels; becoming healthier, saving money, understanding insurance, and doing whatever I can to make their time with us the best it can be! I truly believe I work in the best dental practice in the country because we make a real difference in our patient’s lives and not just their teeth. Focusing on the oral-systemic connection allows us to offer a level of care that gives patients the ability to live fuller lives longer. And they get a great smile too!

Fun Facts:

I’m married to my wonderful husband Adam and we live with our 3 “furbabies” out in the country. I love gardening, hiking, kayaking, fishing....basically anything outdoors! If I am forced to be indoors, you will most likely find me reading or painting. We are also avid travelers and are working diligently on filling our passports.

Why I’m Passionate About What I Do:

Dentistry has been a great passion of mine since I was eleven years old. I believe that, as a dental professional, we have the ability to help people feel and look their best. Over the past decade, I have learned the modern research linking oral health and systemic health and the importance of both. Now, I have the opportunity to apply what I’ve learned and bridge the gap between medical and dental healthcare.

I love my team because we provide true comprehensive care through the leadership of Dr. McClatchie. Our team is composed of knowledgeable clinicians that truly care for patients’ total well-being: We educate and inspire patients to make healthy changes. I am very fortunate to be a part of a team that only delivers the highest standard of care to our patients.
